In the summer of 2023 I had the incredible opportunity to study abroad for 4 weeks in Thessaloniki, Greece. I took a course in Mediterranean Diet and Lifestyle. I learned a lot about greek foods, produce, their lifestyle and culture. 
Some of my activities included: lectures with a food scientist, cooking courses at local restaurants, many excursions to try a variety of greek dishes, hikes to Mount Olympus, a 5 day sailing trip around the greek islands (Skiathos, Skopelos and Alonissos), olive oil and wine tasting, learning about wine and olive oil production and much more.
