From fall of 2021 to spring of 2022 I volunteered as a student teacher at Lake Elementary School in Mentor on the Lake, OH. This was part of my Putting Artists in the Classroom: Intro to Art education class. I worked alongside my professor to create my own lesson plans. I learned how to create lessons that catered to specific age groups. I was also able to present and teach class sessions, and aid students in their work.
