Alternative Spring Break is an annual trip that the Cleveland Institute of Art takes to New Orleans, Louisiana. Every year students visit to complete various volunteer projects.
In 2022 we aided in a variety of projects including: planting trees, cleaning gravestones, cleaning up sidewalks, and aiding a local organization (United Saints).
This trip taught me a lot about working with others, leadership, and I was able to learn more about New Orleans culture and history.
